Symptoms of Acid Reflux Disease

The most common symptom of GERD is heartburn or a burning sensation in the chest. It feels like burning chest pain that starts behind the breastbone and moves up to the neck and throat. Food seems to go back into the mouth, leaving a sour or bitter taste. Heartburn usually occurs after eating, which can be worse at night or when lying down.

Other symptoms of stomach acid disease are:
